Write down an idea and you keep the conclusion. Say it out loud and you keep the thinking. The hesitation before the good part, the wrong turn you corrected, the example you almost used. That is the difference between a note and a voice memory.
Most tools treat voice as a problem to convert. Get it into text, throw the audio away, move on. The transcript is the product. We think the transcript is just the beginning.
A voice memory is what happens when speech becomes something you can return to. You remember a phrase and find the moment. You ask a question in plain words and hear the answer in your own voice. You share the meaning with someone without sending them twelve minutes of audio.
Three things make that possible. Understanding: the words, in any language, with the speakers named. Retrieval: everything searchable, the moment you need it. Intention: sharing only when you decide to.
One thing makes it worth it. Your conversations stay yours. Processing happens with care, the result lives in your own private space, and nothing goes anywhere unless you send it.
That is what we are building. Every voice note remembered.
